Acoustic GRG have been manufacturing and installing premium room acoustics products in the UK and Europe for the last 25 years.
From our 27,000 sq ft workshop in Kent we produce and supply the full RPG range of acoustic wall and ceiling panels. We also distribute and resell Clipso and Fabricmate stretch fabric solutions, Green Glue, Spigo and Lambri acoustic wood systems as well as Camira acoustic fabrics and seamless acoustic plaster.
Architects, contractors and acoustic consultants rely on our ability to manufacture and install our products to the highest standards and tolerances. Whether it's for an office development, a recording studio, a restaurant, or to comply with BB93 for education and schools, we can help with any acoustic requirement.

Clearsorber™Honeycomb is a rigid composite panel, consisting
of two microperforated layers with a clear honeycomb core.
Sound absorption is provided by a patented technology, utilizing
microperforations in the outer layers.
The Future is Clear!
Problem
Absorptive materials are typically opaque and when natural or
artificial lighting is desired along with acoustical absorption,
choices are limited.
Solution
To address this architectural acoustic problem, RPG introduces
Clearsorber Honeycomb, a composite panel consisting of two layers or
1mm microperforated polycarbonate sheet, with a clear honeycomb
core. The sub-millimeter perforations provide Helmholtz
resonant sound absorption. As sound passes through these
microperforations, which are comparable to the thickness of a boundary
layer of air, sound absorption occurs due to viscous boundary layer
effects in the perforations. The frequency of maximum sound
absorption is decreased as the air cavity behind the composite panels
is increased. The Clearsorber Honeycomb panel is also rigid
and can be suspended, parallel to the floor, without significant
bending, thus, sound absorption can now be provided along with natural
or artificial lighting.
Absorption
absorption co-efficient for three cavity depths. D measured to the face
of the Honeycomb panel, therefore D=50 indicated a cavity depth of 32mm
Installation
Clearsorber™ Honeycomb panels can be built into framing, hung
from ceilings, laid into a T-Bar or used as lighting
diffusors. For sound isolation and attentuation, one side is
the perforated side and the other side is solid. For this
application, we recommend the 35mm panel thickness, which offers 19db
of isolation.

Thickness: 19mm and 35mm
Weight: 0.87lbs/sf for 19mm
Colour: Clear
Features
Microperforated
Fiber-free
High Sound Absorption
Translucent
Moisture,bacteria,and fungi resistant
UVstable
Class A Fire Rating
Rigid
Benefits
Patented sub-millimeter microperforation technology in a transparent
sheet provides
sound absorption
Eliminates potential danger from particulates
High sound absorption is a result of viscous boundary layer effects in
the perforations,
when a rear air cavity is provided between the Clearsorber™
Honeycomb and the vision glass
Because the microperforations provide sound absorption without the need
for a backing porous material,the Honeycomb™ offers a
translucent surface that allows natural and artificial lighting and
visibility
The Honeycomb™ is resistant to moisture, bacteria, and fungi
and so can be used in place of
traditional fabric upholstered systems
UV stability insures the panels will not discolour nor decompose over
time
Polycarbonate can be used in those facilities requiring a Class A/1
rating
Can be applied to wall surfaces with standoffs, suspended, laid into
T-Bar grids or incorporated into extruded aluminium framing.
